North American Algae Corporation is active in the research and production of biofuels from algae. We are working with photobioreactors to produce algae as one source. We are also researching ways to harvest natural algae species from lakes, rivers and estuaries.

We develop algal strains with a high lipid content and fast growth rate that are not too difficult to harvest. We also continually research and develop the most cost-effective methods to extract oil from the algae.
