About Us

North American Algae Corporation is active in the research and production of biofuels from algae. We strive to produce biofuel from algae in the most efficient way.

We have different algae sources. Our first algae source comes from growing algae in a photobioreactor. Our other source of algae comes from harvesting natural algae species.

We have developed an algal strain with a high lipid content and fast growth rate that isn't too difficult to harvest, and a cost-effective cultivation system (ie, type of photobioreactor) that is best suited to that strain. We continually research and develop the most cost-effective methods to extract oil from the algae.
